01 - Combine milk and dried lavender in small saucepan. Heat gently over low heat until steaming, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes.
02 - Pour mixture through fine-mesh strainer to remove lavender buds. Allow infused milk to cool slightly before using.
03 - Whisk powdered sugar with 2 1/2 to 3 tablespoons lavender-infused milk in mixing bowl. Add lemon juice if desired. Continue whisking until completely smooth and pourable.
04 - Check glaze thickness. Add additional milk 1 teaspoon at a time to thin, or more powdered sugar to thicken as needed for desired pouring consistency.
05 - Drizzle or spread glaze evenly over cooled baked goods. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes to allow glaze to set completely before serving.
