04 - 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
05 - 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt alternative
06 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
07 - 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or honey
08 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 4–5 fresh mint leaves

→ Toppings

10 - 1/4 cup kiwi, peeled and sliced
11 - 1/4 cup green grapes, halved
12 - 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
13 - 2 tablespoons granola
14 - 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
15 - 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
16 - Fresh mint leaves for garnish

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Add the frozen banana, avocado, spinach, almond milk, yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and mint leaves to a high-speed blender. Process on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, approximately 1–2 minutes. Add additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time if the mixture is too thick to blend.
02 - Divide the blended smoothie mixture evenly between two serving bowls. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface and create an even base for topping.
03 - Peel and slice the kiwi into rounds. Cut the green grapes in half. Measure out the pumpkin seeds, granola, coconut flakes, and hemp seeds into separate small bowls for easy assembly.
04 - Artistically arrange the prepared kiwi slices and grape halves on top of the smoothie base. Sprinkle the pumpkin seeds, granola, coconut flakes, and hemp seeds over the fruit in sections or scattered patterns. Finish with fresh mint leaves as garnish.
05 - Serve the smoothie bowls right away while cold and the toppings remain crisp. Enjoy with a spoon, mixing the toppings into the smoothie base as you eat.

# Tips from hearthlykitchen:

01 -
  • The avocado makes it creamier than any smoothie youve ever had without tasting like guacamole at all
  • Its secretly loaded with spinach but tastes like a refreshing mint chocolate chip milkshake happened
  • You get to play with your food arranging toppings like an edible art project
02 -
  • If you dont have a high speed blender let your frozen banana thaw for like 5 minutes first or itll stay chunky
  • Drink it immediately because the chia seeds keep thickening while it sits
  • The avocado turns slightly brown if you leave it sitting too long so eat this right after you make it
03 -
  • Freeze your spinach in ice cube trays with a little water then just toss the cubes in when blending
  • Buy avocados when theyre on sale and freeze halves for smoothies so you always have them ready
  • Use frozen mango instead of banana if you hate banana flavor it still gets creamy without the taste
